antipositionalWelcome to my new fic and fandom community! To kick things off, I've decided to finally put up a list of my favorite podfics for those of you who might be interested. Definitely under construction, as I'll try to add more fics as I remember/discover them. The vast majority of these are unapologetically MCU!verse Steve/Bucky fics, you have been warned! Also, apologies for the possibly terrible summaries, I'm going off of what I loved (and can remember) about each one. Most of these are pretty long, at least an hour or two, though there will be the occasional short one as well.
The Long Game Series
Highly, highly recommended. This is one of my favorites - basically, shortly after Bucky falls, Steve finds out the Russians have him. He tries to trade himself for his friend, and of course the Russians just keep both of their shiny new super soldiers and turn them into brainwashed assassins. But Steve and Bucky remember just enough to know they want out.

Another highly recommended one; the writing is just downright beautiful. In the midst of crashing the Valkyrie, the Tesseract scrambled Steve and made him something more than human. Which in and of itself is cool, but then along comes the Winter Soldier... Takes place in the 50s, I believe; nice and long, too, if that's your jam. :3

Modern-day Steve is stalked by the Winter Soldier, who's a) a junkie, b) accidentally adopted two street kids, and c) going around as a vigilante calling himself The Revelator.

This, You Protect
After the events of The Winter Soldier, all Bucky basically remembers is that Steve Rogers is an idiot who can't take care of himself, and thus must be protected. He starts squatting in an apartment across from Steve's, makes a whole bunch of accidental friends with the elderly people in his building, and discovers his love for Starbucks' white mochas.

Oh gosh, another amazing epic. Basically the super soldier serum somehow manages to imbue the power to communicate telepathically; Bucky and Steve end up building their own world around themselves while Steve is in the ice and whenever Bucky is in cryo. Except then they defrost Steve, and he has to find Bucky before it's too late.

4 Minute Window Series
After SHIELD went down, Steve's under constant surveillance because of course the Winter Soldier wants to kill him. Except... the Winter Soldier wants to save him. And all they've got is a four-minute window between when Steve slips out of sight of his protection detail and a team of highly-trained agents is sent to respond. Later stories involve Steve and Bucky and the lives they've built for themselves once Steve is no longer on the map.

The Ties That Bind
If you love A/B/O-verse fic, this is for you. :3 A really, really well-done fic where a bonded Steve and Bucky's assignations were switched for wartime propaganda and Steve is determined to use his scent to trigger Bucky's memories when they catch up to him in the future. I love this one particularly because it really fleshes out the A/B/O-verse in which it's written.

This one is just short and adorable. Bucky's elderly siblings commandeer their grandson to drive them to D.C. once they find out that Steve Rogers is still alive. Seriously, just give it a go, it's a lot of OCs but you won't be disappointed.

Get the tissue box ready, because this one is horrible but amazing. Think Groundhog Day: every time Steve dies, he resets, sometimes a couple of hours, sometimes years at a time, until he's lived every possible life and loved every possible person... and there's no way to make it stop.

This one is just cute and funny, but I keep coming back to it somehow. Steve wants to help Bucky with his shoulder... so he becomes a licensed massage therapist. No, really. Steve Rogers does nothing by halves.
